2015	Covered Loading area built and office refurbishment completed
2014	BRC awarded = accreditation for Storage and distribution
2012/13	Vehicle fleet upgraded and increased
2011	Winners of the Palletforce Sales and Marketing Award
2009/10	Warehousing extension and pallet racking for @ 9000 pallets
2008	Purchase of additional 3.8 acre industrial site located 200 yds from existing operation
2004	Avon move to new 22,000 sq ft purpose built premises in Redditch Avon Groupage Ltd and Wheel Transport merged to form Avon Freight Group Ltd both operating from the new premises
2001	Wheel Transport joins a newly formed pallet network, Palletforce
2000	Avon purchased the total shareholding of established haulage company Wheel Transport Ltd, based in Birmingham, providing Avon with additional distribution capabilities and larger warehousing facilities
1999	Simon Poole and Paul Drew purchase the total shareholding of Avon from the previous shareholders
1989	Avon (Ireland) Ltd was formed and started operating from Dublin
1984	After purchasing the site at The Slough, new warehouse and offices were built. Additional warehouse space and workshop were later added totalling 14,000 sq ft
1983	Simon Poole Joined Avon as a director
1981	Avon takes up residence at The Slough, Studley, home for a further 22 years
197?	Avon groupage Formed, offering groupage services to Northern and southern Ireland. The Company was operating from a premises in the small village near Stratford upon Avon (hence the name “Avon)
